07/09/2010 - Toronto, ON (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Bill Hall finished 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, a two-run homer and drove in four as Boston torched Toronto, 14-3, in the opener of a three-game set from Rogers Centre.
Mike Cameron went 3-for-4 with a solo shot, knocked in three and scored three times for the Red Sox, who snapped a four-game slide. Kevin Youkilis homered and added two RBI, while Adrian Beltre also went deep and crossed the plate three times in the rout.
Jon Lester (11-3) yielded four hits and a pair of runs with six strikeouts over six strong innings to earn the victory for Boston, which finally rewarded manager Terry Francona with his 900th career win.
John McDonald and Jose Molina both homered for the Blue Jays, who saw their two-game win streak snapped and lost for the fourth time in six games.
Ricky Romero (6-6) was ripped in defeat for five hits and nine runs -- five earned -- with a trio of walks over just 2 1/3 frames.
The Sox blew open a close game in the third with seven runs.
Marco Scutaro and Darnell McDonald started the frame with singles and David Ortiz walked before a Youkilis sacrifice fly made it 4-0. Beltre walked to load the bases again, then an error on a fielder's choice at home scored McDonald. Cameron drew a walk to force in another run and Romero was pulled for Brian Tallet.
Hall's sac fly brought in Beltre for a 7-0 contest and after Kevin Cash walked to load the sacks once more, Scutaro dumped a two-run single and McDonald added an RBI hit to cap the rally at 10-0.
Tallet was victimized for three solo homers in the fourth -- Youkilis and Beltre went back-to-back to start the frame -- and Cameron added a one-out blast for a 13-0 score.
Hall's ground-rule double in the sixth drove in Daniel Nava for a 14-0 Red Sox edge, but Toronto's McDonald smashed one off the foul pole in left with one down in the home half to get the Jays on the board. John Buck later added an RBI double.
Molina's two-out solo homer in the seventh brought Toronto within 11 runs, but Robert Manuel did not give up a run for the remainder of his two-inning relief stint.
Dustin Richardson allowed a hit and walk in the ninth but closed the door on the Jays nonetheless.
Boston picked up three runs in the first on a Cameron RBI single and Hall's two-run homer.

Mens NCAA Basketball Tournament odds
As of February 9, MySportsbook.com has released its coveted 2007 Mens NCAA Basketball Tournament betting odds. “March Madness betting ” only a month away, the top ranked Florida Gators are favorite at 7-2 to win it all. The defending champs have not disappointed at all this season and currently have a 22-2 record and are undefeated (9-0) in SEC play. The Gators’ thrive off of their extremely balanced, experienced and versatile attack. All five starters started in last seasons National Championship game. What is most impressive with this group is their balance; the five starters all average between 10.7 and 13.6 PPG. The Gators have been on an absolute roll having won 15 straight by an average of 16.4 PPG.
Right behind the Gators are the 5th ranked UNC Tar Heels at 9-2. The Heels (21-3, 7-2) are absolutely loaded with top notch talent and are as deep as any team in the country. A concern for the Tar Heels might be inexperience. Of their top four scorers/ minute earners, three are freshmen and the other is a sophomore. The rest of the regular season, the Tar Heels play only one team that is currently ranked (Duke). Their remaining opponents do combine for an impressive 107-58 record though.
Other teams that the MySportsbook.com members seem to believe will win it all include the west coasts’ top team #2 UCLA (6-1), #3 OSU behind man-child Greg Oden (8-1), and #4 Wisconsin (10-1) behind their defense which has given up 70+ points only three times all season.
Below is a list of some of the favorites to win the 2007 Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship lines. For the full list of teams and March Madness odds be sure to log onto MySportsbook.com.
