Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas is expected to miss his third straight game tonight because of personal reasons. Guard Damon Jones (strep throat) is questionable.
Cleveland is 11-15 on the road this season is currently 2 1/2 games behind Detroit for the lead in the Central Division. The club returns home on Thursday to host the Bulls.
The Cavs have won five of six and eight of the last 11 against the Raptors. Cleveland has also claimed victory in four of its last six in Toronto.
The Raptors won their eighth straight home game last Wednesday when they knocked off the New Jersey Nets, 120-109. Chris Bosh had 25 points, nine rebounds and six assists in the win, and added 11 points and seven boards in Sunday's All-Star Game.
Morris Peterson added 18 points and seven boards while T.J. Ford netted 17 and dished out eight assists for the Raptors, who lead the Nets by 4 1/2 games in the Atlantic Division.
Overall, the Raptors have won 10 of their last 12 games and will play the middle tilt of a three-game homestand tonight. Toronto will host the Pacers on Friday at the Air Canada Centre, where the club is 19-7.

In any football or basketball game (the main sports that use point spreads) there are two teams playing against each other.
Those teams, though, are rarely exactly evenly matched – meaning that typically one team has a better chance than the other to win the game. If bettors were allowed to bet on who was simply going to win the game, smart ones would obviously bet on the better team (likely winning more than 50% of the time in the process).

This is where the point spread comes in: the basic function of the point spread is to balance the likelihood of each team “winning” by adjusting the final score by the point spread. Mathematically considered, 24 for the favorite Pats minus 7 equals 17, which is less than the 20 the Eagles scored, so the underdog Eagles win the ATS result (or you could figure 20 plus 7 equals 27 for the Eagles, which is more than 24 for the Pats).
